The Late Alfred Hitchcock presents....
This is a neat idea - BBC Radio 7 are producing stories originally intended for the Alfred Hitchcock television series but rejected because of their rather gruesome nature. Actor Michael Roberts does a great impression of the later master director for the introduction to each story.

The Saki tale has been televised several times, but never by Hitchcock.
Being a Murderer Myself, however, did appear on Hitchcock's show in 1959 under the title of "Arthur". (Arthur being the name of the murderer and of the supposed author.)
I'm looking forward to this series.
I recall that in Hitchcock's vignette at the end of the show, he related that the murderer had met his comeuppance! Stating that because of the fine food the chickens had been given, they grew to enormous size, and "One day as he shouldered his way through the flock … " He went on to state that the rest was too gruesome to describe … … …
