THE WILD WEST WEB

And what a line up we've got planned for Archive readers. Each post, a hundred of them is the aim, will be related to the western genre and specifically the Black Horse Western range which has been providing readers with classic western style adventure for decades. In fact Robert Hale LTD under their Black Horse Western imprint publish more western fiction yearly than any other publisher.

Tomorrow the world wide web truly becomes the wild west web.

There's too much happening to list but some of the highlights include:

Ian Parnham providing us with evidence that Black Horse Westerns are bigger than Harry Potter, a western strip from Chap O'keefe which was first published in the Eagle, Keith Souter gives some sound advice to aspiring western writers, Charles Whipple gives us a fascinating piece on Arizona (as well as much more), which is where many of his western written under the name Chuck Tyrell are based, Nick Morton looks at the subject of researching western novels, Bobby Nash shares with us his thoughts on the genre, we have a new all original western short story from Black Horse favourite, Terry James and that's just a taster. We'll have interviews, new and old, with many of the luminaries of the Black Horse range - Lance Howard, Keith Souter, Jack Giles and many more...There'll be tons of reviews of Black Horse titles courtesy of Western Fiction Review and Davy Crockett's Almanack. And one or two surprises.

The aim of the weekend is to promote the Black Horse Western range, and we do hope that maybe one or two new readers will stumble across the Archive, enjoy what they see and part with some of their hard earned to buy a book or two. Or enquire about the range at your local library. Or even join the Black Horse Western forum where chat goes on between readers and writers of the books.

So will we make it? A hundred posts over three days?

Can we do it?

Yes we can!

Be here for it.
